FFM are delighted to have been recognised at the recent East Cheshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards held at Cranage Hall after being presented with not one, but two awards on the night!
After being awarded the Corporate and Social Responsibility Award, Andrew Chatterton, Managing Director of FFM commented “We pride ourselves on putting our clients first and a key part of our success lies in investing in our staff and in the local community.”
“As a local employer, being socially responsible is a big part of what I believe that every business should do and to be recognised by the Chamber and our peers means a lot to us all here at FFM.”
Franklyn Financial Management were praised for their work in local schools through providing employability workshops, alongside their extensive work experience and school engagement programme.
They also deliver assemblies on encouraging young students to take opportunities and the importance of forward planning.
Charitable work is another key area that FFM pride themselves on and they were exceptionally proud to donate £34,400 to local charity, Friends for Leisure, after selecting them to be their pledge charity at their flagship charity event, the Summer Swing (www.ffmsummerswing.co.uk).
Off the back of their extensive school engagement programme, FFM were overjoyed that one of their employees picked up the Apprentice of The Year Award.
Chloe Tatton, ex head girl of Congleton High School, joined FFM last July after attending the new office opening.
After being recognised for her work in the community and for excelling in her role, Chloe was promoted to Business Relations Coordinator after six months of being with the company.
Chloe commented “I couldn’t believe that I won Apprentice of The Year for East Cheshire. I cannot thank FFM enough for the opportunities they have given me since leaving school and I genuinely feel like I have the best job in the world, working for a truly, great, caring company.”
