National Apprenticeship Week 2022

National Apprenticeship Week is here and the theme for this year is ‘Build the Future’ – a great theme to represent the impact Apprenticeships have on individuals, businesses, and the community. Apprenticeships help people build skills and knowledge, all while receiving experience in the workplace by professionals.

Here at FFM we are proud to have four fantastic Apprentices all studying towards different qualifications whilst working in the Franklyn Family.

Chloe Tatton
Chloe was our very first Apprentice who joined the Franklyn Family in 2018. After completing her Level 4&5 Business Administration apprenticeship with us, Chloe began her 2.5 year fast-track Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2020 and is hoping to graduate in 2023 with a degree in BA (Hons) Professional Business Management with Chartered Manager status.

Alongside her studies, Chloe is our Business Relations Coordinator and is responsible for the management of all our internal and external events, developing our FFM Education Programme, creating marketing material and much more.

Kayley Taylor
Kayley joined the Franklyn Family as our Business Relations Apprentice in May 2021 and is currently studying towards her Level 3 in Digital Marketing.

Whilst learning plenty of new marketing skills through her apprenticeship, Kayley applies all of this new knowledge to her role at FFM into her responsibilities such as website development, content creation, and much more.

Tom Smyth
Tom is our third Apprentice who joined us in September 2021 and began studying on the 4-year Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship at Manchester Metropolitan University.

He currently works in our Franklyn for Mortgages team as a Mortgage Client Manager and loves the fact he can apply the topics he is learning at university to his current work. His most recent module saw him learning about stakeholder relationships which he has said has helped him when it comes to liaising with clients or businesses we work with.

James Chatterton
Similarly to Tom, James joined us at the same time and began his journey on the 4-year Chaartered Management Degree Appprenticeship at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Working as a Client Manager in our Financial Management team, James enjoys learning new units as it betters his understanding of the work he does in the office. James’s most recent topic which he has enjoyed is economics – a great topic for him to learn especially in our working environment!

We are delighted to have Chloe, Kayley, Tom, and James in our team and look forward to continuing to support them on their journey.
